For certain roles, especially those working directly with youth, a background check may be required. nce those steps are complete, you'll be officially welcomed as a Metropolitan Equestrian volunteer and matched with a role that fits your interests, skills, and availability.

Do I need horse experience to volunteer?

Not at all. While equine experience is helpful for certain roles, many of our volunteer positions—such as event support, office tasks, and mentorship, require no prior horse knowledge.

What is the time commitment for volunteering?

We offer flexible scheduling! Whether you can commit to a few hours a week or help out at occasional events, we’ll work with you to find a role that suits your schedule.

Can I volunteer remotely?

Yes! We offer remote volunteer opportunities in areas like marketing, graphic design, grant writing, administrative support, and mentorship. Let us know your skills and availability on your application.
